Are you a Warrior for Yourself?
Choosing a word for the year is a practice full of power. It channels your brain and gives it intention. There are reasons for choosing a word, personal, professional, emotional or spiritual. There are no reasons better than others, but I encourage you to choose one. Post it in places that you frequent, your office, bathroom mirror, refrigerator, or car dashboard. Let your brain strive for something powerful and purposeful this year.
Guilt for my Guilty Pleasure
Breaking the chains of the things that keep you stuck or feeling broken is not an easy process. Recognizing your value, your worth and what holds you back is painful, but also creates the opportunity for freedom. Freedom from self judgement, freedom from doubt in yourself and freedom from the thoughts that don’t serve you. Stepping into your power by breaking chains one by one - that is how you truly begin living the life you choose.
Things I Have Learned Because I Have Kids
We think we know best, but it is amazing how much we can learn from our kids. These teenagers that create so much angst, can actually teach us some incredibly valuable lessons. When we loosen our grip on needing to be right, how can we grow from being open.
Calling In Cupid
It is way past time to show yourself some love on Valentine’s Day and every day! Self love is the greatest gift you can give yourself and those that are in your life. When we love ourselves, we can offer others that best version. We cannot give what we do not own, so pour into you in abundance and watch your life flourish with love.
Carpe Diem
We strive to make our lives happy, fulfilling, but do we strive to make them extraordinary? What does that even mean? Part of the answer lies in the ability to change what we cannot accept along with accepting what we cannot change. The difference is life changing.
